In Desperate Need of a Schedule

If you saw Sara's post on Tuesday, now you know I’m flying solo. I know most of you in the blog-a-sphere do this all the time, but it's a little new for me. I thought it might be good to give my blog a little structure. This is what I came up with.

MondayLessons in Storytelling: Ground breaking ideas I’ve learned about storytelling from literature, movies, or television. (I use the term ground breaking VERY liberally :)

TuesdayWon’t You Be My Neighbor?: I’ve resisted doing interviews because so many people do them so much better than me. But finding more friends we can connect with is SO important. And maybe I can ask some probing and fun questions.

WednesdayCrafting  Corner: If you think I’m going to tell you how to make cool things with pipe cleaners this day will be a let down. You will have to settle for posts on the craft of writing. I have a goal to read one book on craft each month, so maybe I can pass on some tips.

ThursdayRandom Ramblings: I need a day for all the other brain vomit that won’t fit into a neat little category. Yay for Thursdays!

FridayFriday Funnies: This might be a stretch, but I will try and find something funny to share with you every Friday. Hey, by the end of the week I need a good laugh.

So give me your feedback. Yes. No. Maybe so?

-Angie

Sounds like a great plan! Maybe I should make some kind of plan for my own blog. At the moment, every day is Random Ramblings lol! :D

This sounds great. I'm looking forward to it, just remember not be afraid to change things if you find they're not working for you, or it gets too much. I'll be here, cheering you on :-)

Yes, yes, yes! You're so awesome. I can barely get in one post a week. Lame.

Whew! Every day?! You're good. :)

Me, I do my Motivational Mondays and then post another time or two that week, usually sticking with something related to books and reading and writing. I find that gives me some structure but still leaves some flexibility.

I think this sounds like a great schedule. Alternating information posts and posts for fun is a great idea. Looking forward to it!

Ooh! Awesome! Love the schedule you've come up with. I may be a little disappointed that there are no pipe cleaner crafts tho. :( *sigh* I'll just have to find that elsewhere. :)

I think that sounds like a great schedule. You're so organised! *sigh* I am going to miss those pipe cleaner projects though! Good luck flying solo.

Nice plan! I personally don't really schedule my blog in any way. Except that on Sundays I'm doing a music Sunday Session. hehe. that's fun! but I do schedule my creative life, as of this year! And it's working nicely so far.

Do what works for you! I've never had much luck with a schedule, but have fantasized about them working for me.
