I’m
a bit of a texting novice. My husband finally insisted I get (and use) an
iphone. I’ve have it for a few months now and I’m getting pretty good at it (he
might disagree). But because I’m still new I make all kinds of mistakes.
But
instead of making fun of me, let’s make fun of other people :) Here are a few texting mishaps I’ve seen online. They are too funny!
Remember—Don’t

I have to admit--it took me a while to realize why the last one was funny! Ha, love these!
So freakin funny! I always misspell words and my phone autocorrects them into the most random words. And I usually hit send before I notice. Thanks for the laugh. :)

Hilarious! I have an iphone but I hardly ever text - I still use email. Wow, I'm old. Or should I just say "old school" instead? :)
When my daughter got tubes in her ears I texted my mom and sister to let them know how it was going. I got a text back from my mom that said, 'blgf.' "What?" I asked. Then I got a text from my sister saying, "Mom meant to say, 'okay.'
Oh my gosh! I'm in the airport and laughing out loud. These are great. The great aunt one is sad, yet funny. Haha :)

Those are hysterical. I hate intuitive text! Ugh When I'm in a hurry, I come up with the dumbest things.
These are so funny! My favorite I saw somewhere is a daughter asking her mother if she can have a sleepover. The mother responds, "No you cunt." Daughter, "OMG MOM! harsh!" Mom, "Oh my goodness. I meant can't!"
That one had me rolling on the floor.

Hilarious...some of those sound like conversations I've had with my mom. Most of them involve either drinking or me asking "Have you tried turning it off and on again"
I love the segment that Ellen does on the Ellen Degeneres show that is exactly this. Plus you should check out the app "Texts from last night".
Those are so hilarious! A coworker and I were having a fun conversation about this just the other day. Not only do some intuitive programs auto correct, but they don't allow curse words so instead of "that d*mn thing broke" you get "that damage thing broke"

I see so many of these around that it's a large part of why I don't have an iPhone and don't intend to ever have one. haha
