Random Ramblings: Really? There’s more?

I’ve received some fun awards lately. Freya Morris and Aldrea Allen gave me The Kreativ Blogger Award and Hope Roberson gave me the Liebster Award. Thanks girls! I’m honored.

So, even though I feel like you all know everything about me—here’s a bit more.

  1. I’ve been married for 13 years and I’m still head over heels in love with my hubby. He's amazing! Kind, sweet, very smart, and hot—don’t forget HOT!
  2.  I’m the oldest of seven kids. Yep, you heard right SEVEN KIDS. I’m like the second mother. In fact, if my brothers or sisters can’t find Mom they call me.
  3. My sisters call me a book whore, because I like everything. But the more I learn about the craft of writing the less whorey I am. *Sigh*  I kind of miss those blissful whorey days.
  4. I hate math. I don’t really feel a need to explain :)
  5. I have freakishly small feet. I’m talking 5-6. I’ve never had a love affair with shoes, because they NEVER have my size.
  6. I’m a bit of a closeted Isaiah expert. I’ve been studying that book for years. I think it’s fascinating.
  7. I was a cheerleader in high school, but I was a VERY nice cheerleader. I always went out of my way to make people feel included and important. I hate the cliché of the witchy cheerleader.
  8. I could live without bread, meat, and dairy—but not candy. Well, I guess if I only ate candy I wouldn’t live too long.
  9. My eyelashes are crazy long. I get asked all the time where I get my lashes done. No extras, just 100% mine :)
  10. I can repeat all 50 states in alphabetical order. Thank you 4th grade program.

Almost everyone I follow has already been given these awards. So the buck stops here. I guess I need to expand my blogging circle. Have a great Thursday everyone!

I love the book whore analogy. I find that I'm getting less whorey too. Which, like you mention, is slightly annoying.

But when you find books that you do like, you know they're really good. :)

Math and numbers and me used to hate each other but we've come to an adult, grown-up kind of truce - one at least long enough for me to balance the checkbook. :)

I think you should go back to the whorey days. My Mom also has a size 5 shoe and she has more shoes than anyone I know because when she finds a pair in her size, she automatically buys them because 'she'll never find another pair that fits a size 5!'

#4...I'm there with you. #9 I sort of hate you for this one. Not really.

I'm with you on 3 and 4, and very jealous of 9 :-)

There are eight kids in my family, but I'm one of the babies. So, spoiled according to my oldest siblings. Whatever. I hate math too. Loathe it actually. Isaiah expert and state repeater? Smarty pants. :)

I can do the 50 states thing too! ;) I'm the oldest of 4 kids. My hubby is right in the middle of his family. There were seven, he was number 4. I always hear "No one noticed me because I was the middle child." Haha. He's silly. :)

Congrats on the blog awards! :D

I giggled at your comment about feet, because I have the opposite problem. My feet aren't enormous, but they are wide, so all the cute, girly shoes never fit me!

Congrats on the awards! And the hot husband--one can never forget that.

Sadly, I've not been blessed with any of these awards so sad face: :(

Holla for another nice cheerleader. Seriously - cheerleaders drive me INSANE! And I was one! *sigh* I always have to tell people I was the "nice" one. lol.
And don't get me started on math. Hate it too!

You were a cheerleader? That's it. We can't be friends anymore. Ha!
Congrats on the awards!

People always assume I was a cheerleader cause I'm blonde :) I would have had to give up soccer to be one, wan't gonna happen :)

Hope Roberson :) I get Robertson ALL the time ;)

Love learning more about you and congrats on the awards. So if someone calls you a 'ho' it's true? ;) I used to tell my kids that if someone wanted to insult them and say that their mother wore combat boots, they could just respond with, "Yeah. So what's your point?"

Congrats for the awards. Super cool and well deserved. And that whole cheerleading thing? Kind of cool that you chose not to live down to the generalizations :-)

Congratulations on the awards! I can relate to your dislike of shoe shopping, because I don't like it either. Only my problem are my feet are too big, not to mention I have flat feet, so I can never wear those cute heels that women are supposedly expected to wear without shrieking in pain and tripping over everything. I always find myself looking longingly at the mens' shoes section, because their shoes look so much more comfortable.

I love Isaiah, too! So glad to know someone else that loves the book. :-)

Wow. Crazy new insight here.

I could give up meat pretty easily - the rest of it . . . um . . .

I wear a 6.5 or 7, and I'm accused of having small feet. now I have YOU, lol.

I used to love everything, too. ANd now I read the WHOLE first chapter before buying a book, because I do NOT want to disappointed by bad writing.

I was also a nice cheerleader -we do exist, and we work HARD.

crazy long lashes and a hot husband? now you're just bragging!
joking! yay for your awards =)

and happy birthday to your sweet girl!

Fun facts! I'm jealous of your lashes. My husband and son have them. Mine are barely there.

Ha, I can do the 50 states, too! As long as you know the "Fifty Nifty United States" song, you're golden. :) Love this list!

You know, if think if I were to start listing all 50 states I couldn't do it. I know I'd forget a few.
