I know. I know. I
said I was going to post every week, but I have a good reason why I’ve been
MIA. No, seriously. It’s really good.
I’ve been
working on a super secret project—one that has taxed every bone in my body and
zapped all my mental strength. I’d like to say it’s been fun, but for the most
part it’s been absolute misery. It’s one of those projects that starts off
terrible, eases up in the middle, then gets really uncomfortable before you get
this AWESOME reward at the end.
You guys are so
smart to guess it right…Yep…I’m pregnant J
We can throw
confetti and strike up the band, because when my mom asked, “On purpose?” The
answer was YES. This is number four for me and my hubby. My youngest is eight,
so that’s a big gap, but what can you do?
I love writing,
but if I had to say what my number one mission in this world is, it would be my
kids. Although they may debate that idea around bed time (I’m kind of mean).
So I haven’t
been online much, and only writing sporadically, but both are hard to do with
your head in the toilet. Go ahead, try it—I dare you. I’ve been crazy sick with
this baby, tons more than with the others. Here are the highlights: 24/7 nausea,
repertory infections, forced bed rest, early contraction—and I’m only at 16
weeks. Heaven help me.
My baby the size of a gummy bear. Don't blink or you will miss it. |
I wish I was
more like Cassie and I could pop out 9 books, one for each month I was with
child and then sell them all the day my baby was born J Or like Erin Summerill who, I would bet
my last nickel, ran at least one marathon while pregnant with each of her five
kids. Tell me if I’m wrong someone. No, I’m the lame one who is sick all the
time and people wonder if they have died.
So long story
short, I haven’t died (even though I’ve wanted to) and I miss all of you and
your wonderful energy. Now that I’m in my second trimester I’ll try to do
better, but I’m making no promises.
-Angie
P.S. I need to
send a public shout out to the amazing Emily King. We started working on a project
together before all of this started and she’s been the best friend to me. She
patiently listens to my whiny texts and doesn’t complain when I am a week or
two…or three late with a chapter or critique. I love you girl J

CONGRATULATIONS ANGIE! i am so happy for you guys.
Congratulations.
I didn't start writing until my youngest was around 3. I'm sure I'd have a hard time keeping up with it too. Hopefully the rest of the time will go a little smoother for you.
Congrats Angie! Great news. Sorry the sickness is kicking you around.
Aww. Congratulations. Sorry it's being such a hard pregnancy. I love your attitude about it vs writing time. Real life always takes precedence over our imaginary friends. :)
And another aww for Emily. Can't wait to hear more about this project.
Ahhh!! Congratulations!! I'm sorry this has been a rough pregnancy. I hope you feel better soon. But, like you said, a beautiful reward at the end. xo
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I think that's awesome. I feel for you. You know in the pregnancy books where they say...some women feel sick... some feel energized; some get acne...some have glowing skin.
My body always took the crappy option! I felt accomplished if I rolled my beastly body out of bed and dressed it.
Hope you feel better soon. Big hugs to Emily...she is aces among people!!!
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!! (On the happy baby news, not on the sad pukey news, of course. ;)) I wish you energy and feeling good and time and infection-free-ness and zero contractions until the end.
YAY!!! Congrats again!!! :D :D :D
Awww...congratulations. Four will be so much fun!!
Congrats! I'm so excited for you! Hubby and I thought we were done too but Heavenly Father nudged and we're filling out adoption papers again for number three. Hope the next trimester is an easier, less sick one!
Huge congrats, Angie!

Oh my goodness . . .CONGRATS!!! Sooo exciting:-) Praying for an easier pregnancy the rest of the way~hugs
Congratulations to your entire family for the upcoming addition!
When things ease up in the middle, you will find more strength to get back to writing more. There is a time for everything.
WAHOOOOOO!!! So happy for you, Angie. Guess what? I'm like you with my pregnancies (and, no, I'm not pregnant). But I'm super sick and miserable the whole time. I swear I don't get ANYTHING done. So my sympathy and complete understanding is with you. Yay for the wonderful reward at the end, right?! And don't worry, you'll have plenty of time for book writing later. :-)
Congratulations! What wonderful news. And cut yourself some slack-being pregnant is hard work.
Congratulations, Angie!! So glad I picked today to blog-stalk you. Hugs! Good luck on your co-project. Those are fun, and a great way to stay motivated in the middle of a big life change. (((((Angie))))
Awwww! How exciting! Congratulations girl!
Aw! Congratulations Angie- I am so happy for you. A baby is such a wonderful blessing! The doctor shut me down after #3 but The Husband and I would have kept right on going to #4 otherwise.
BIG CONGRATS!!
AH!!! Oh my gosh!!! Congratulations!!! That is so exciting. I forgive you guys for not finishing your collab yet. ;) This is far more important.
Though seriously, when do I get to read that collab??? haha!

Congratulations! I'm so excited for you and amazed you even have the energy to blog while pregnant cause I remember how hard it can be to function even. Anyway, congrats on your fantastic news!!!
Congratulations! I hope you start feeling better soon.
Congratulations! That's great news! I'm sorry you're so sick, though. Hopefully it will get better from here. Good luck and take care!
I totally missed this post! Congrats on the baby and I feel your sickiness pain. It doesn't last forever!
And um... I did not pop out 9 books. I'm pretty sure it was only 4 ;)
Congrats! I was no good at blogging or writing all while I was prego. And now that my baby is 3 months old I'm still trying to get back in the swing of things!! :D
Congrats, Angie!
CONGRATS! What wonderful news! :)

If you are planning a solar system for your home, be sure to calculate your potential energy production using the amount of sun to expect in the cloudiest month. As winter sunlight is much lower than summer, you will want to be able to plan for higher energy costs in winter. If you generate excess energy during the summer, with the right plan, your utility company will send you a check!
