I
had such a great spring break! I stayed up late with my kids watching movies.
Finished off 4 books and 150 pages of critiques. Let my kids play the iPods
until their brains turned to mush. And kissed my sister’s one year old twins
until they were chapped :)
I
had a fantastic idea for today’s post inspired by all the fun reruns I got to
watch at my parents (they really need to get a DVR).
But
while I was coming up with ideas at 1:00 am about all the things we could learn
from Murder She Wrote, I got tired. I mean as AWESOME as Jessica
Fletcher is (how many Russian ballerinas can one woman help defect anyway? The
woman is a nation treasure) it turns out there isn’t all that much to learn in
Cabot Cove.
So
I’ve taken this day to recoup and catch up on laundry. But I missed all your
awesome posts. And I’ll be back tomorrow with a brand new Won’t You Be My
Neighbor. Believe me you don’t want to miss this :)

Miss you, Angela! :) Love Jessica! She inspired me to write way back in the 90's. Didn't actually do it until mid 2000's! Talk about a delayed reaction, huh? :D
Yay, welcome back! :D Looking forward to tomorrow's post!
Welcome back. You're right--you could shoot a lot of holes through Murder She Wrote, but Angela Lansbury is so awesome, nobody ever does.
Glad you made it back and you had fun!
Glad you're back!! :)
I grew up not that far from where Murder, She Wrote was filmed. We watched it religiously as a kid.
But yeah, pretty much, if you were suspected of being the bad guy early on, you weren't... which means she taught me the art of the red herring (and that if Jessica Fletcher showed up, it was time to take a vacation, cause someone was about to die!).
I love your neighbor segments! They are so fun! I'm deep in laundry today too. Good luck, may the force be with you. :)
Welcome back! Glad you had a fun spring break. Now we're counting down the days to summer break :)
Agh, laundry day. Wanna do mine, too? :)
I used to watch Murder She Wrote, ALL the time! I love that show! Now I'm off to find a picture to email you! Glad you're back! :)
its nice to live in a place with no action, but no one wants to read about it... ever see craig fergusen do angela lansbury? so funny!
we live vicariously thru books =)
glad you had a fun, productive break!
I'm glad you had a good spring break. My mom loved Murder She Wrote. LOL.
Jessica Fletcher!!! I had a roommate in college who LOVED Murder She Wrote (so do I ;)) There were a few times we skipped going out because we were having a Murder She Wrote marathon... :)
Awww, Jessica Fletcher. A true legend!
I'm glad you had a nice break. Sounds like it was VERY fun!
I'm actually really ready for my kids to not be in school anymore - well, for the summer anyway.
Glad you all had a nice break :-D
Ha, your parent's TV situation sounds a lot like my parent's. :) Glad you had a super fun and relaxing break!
I think I have seen every episode ever of Murder She Wrote. Not for about 30 years, but still, I loved watching that show with my parents and my grandma.
I'm a teacher, so spring break is my happy space. Found your blog from Leigh Covington's. Waving from my place in the mid 600's of the A to Z blogfest.
